It's Walmart. The giant that is forcing local businesses out of existence...but we must shop there for the lower prices, at least until the economy improves...if it ever does. If you need the restrooms at this location, go to the ones at the rear of the store. The ones in front by customer service are terrifying.
I was passing through on I-20 and needed a couple of pharmaceutical items. The greeter at entrance next to the pharmacy was extremely friend and helpful. The check out was quick and I was on my way after only 10 minutes. Only ? Why didn't you have self service check out available. All of the Walmart's in the Columbia, SC have them and I have gotten used to them.
THEY ARE THE WORST WALMART I'VE EVER BEEN TO. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. THE BAKERY ASSOCIATE IS NEVER IN THE BAKERY. THEY ALL HAVE GROSS ATTITUDES. THERE ARE NEVER ANY AVAILABLE LANES. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.. THE LIST GOES ON AND ON
"Pickup Today" ordering is a joke. It's never ready the same day -- or even the next day for that matter. Customer service is either very hit-or-miss. The employees in the "customer service" area at this location are the worst. They are always rude, distracted, put-upon, and will stand around talking and laughing with one another while ignoring and acting bothered by customers. Most of the employees don't even see customers, or are snotty at best. It's not all bad -- the men and women in the deli are ALWAYS nice. They really are friendly, helpful, and one of the only reasons I keep patronizing this store. They deserve 5 stars. As a matter-of-fact, if not for them I'd rate this store 1-star. Oh, and two things -- I contacted Walmart online chat about my issue, and the CSR I chatted with was AWESOME. The final thing is that it takes a lot for me to negatively review anything. I'm incredibly patient and flexible with issues, rarely complain, understand that things happen, and don't sweat it much when things go wrong. The problem here is that it's always something with this store -- the Thomson GA Walmart has tried my last bit of patience.
Since changing over to prescription E- File, I have taken my prescription there and it have 3 refills marked clearly on my script. When going online or calling they say there are none on file. I then call my doctor and he verifies to me that there is. So I place another call to the pharmacy and get the same answer...no refills. Well, I'll wait and check it again online the next day and it says they're ready for refill. I just don't know if it's me or the pharmacy that doesn't quite understand the new system
